The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with SEMH needs in their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers and clinical staff to deliver tailored learning plans.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them manage their emotions and behaviour.
• Assist students in achieving core qualifications (SATs/GCSEs) and exploring vocational studies such as beauty, catering, and life skills.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.

About You
You are a dedicated individual with a passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs. You should:

• Have experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or SEND.
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of diverse learners.
