SEMH Teacher - Barnoldswick
We are looking for an outstanding Secondary Teacher to join our trauma-informed Alternative Provision School in Barnoldswick. This role is ideal for a teacher with experience or a strong interest in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Our students are not always able to succeed in mainstream environments and require a flexible, compassionate, and creative approach to learning. This is a unique opportunity to help shape futures by offering a fresh start through trust, consistency, and connection.
About The School: Our client school is a specialist Alternative Provision catering to secondary-aged students (11-16) who face a variety of complex barriers to learning, including ASC, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, attachment difficulties, and SEMH challenges, within Barnoldswick. Many of our students have experienced disrupted education and may arrive disengaged, but with the right support, they begin to re-engage and thrive.
A trauma-informed, relationship-led approach

Small class sizes (typically 4-8 students per group)

High staff-to-student ratios and consistent adult presence

Individualised learning pathways tailored to each student's emotional and academic needs
