Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and self-sufficient Multi-Skilled Operatives with a solid background in insurance reinstatement works . The ideal candidate will be confident in working across multiple trades and delivering high-quality finishes on both residential and commercial projects.
You must be capable of working independently from a Schedule of Works and communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and insurance assessors. Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake reinstatement and refurbishment works following fire, flood, impact , and other insured damages.
Carry out a wide range of multi-trade tasks including carpentry, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating, plumbing , and basic electrics .
Deliver all work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
Communicate professionally with clients, surveyors, and project managers.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in insurance reinstatement work on domestic and commercial properties.
Strong multi-trade skill set, including:
Carpentry Hanging doors, fitting kitchens, skirting boards, general carpentry.
Plastering Patch repairs and full wall finishes.
Tiling High-standard wall and floor tiling.
Painting & Decorating Including wallpapering and finishing work.
Basic Brickwork Repointing and HeliBar installations.
Basic Electrics Changing fittings and minor electrical repairs (Part P qualification desirable).
Plumbing Pipework repairs, bathroom and kitchen fittings.
Own tools and reliable vehicle required.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the specified regions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Full understanding of Health & Safety regulations .
References will be required.
