Full-Time Secondary Behaviour Support – Winchester, Hampshire

GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and resilient individual to join a dynamic secondary school in Winchester as a full-time Behaviour Support. This vital role begins ASAP or from September 2025, offering a rewarding annual salary between £21,500 to £24,500, and operates during term time only from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar setting or bring transferable skills from roles such as youth work, social care, or pastoral support. Patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-the-ground support to students across the school who may present behavioural challenges.
Build strong, trusting relationships to help guide young people through emotional or behavioural difficulties.
Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external agencies to implement tailored interventions.
Encourage positive behaviour and resilience through consistent, supportive engagement.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Job Requirements:

Experience working with young people in a support, pastoral, or mentoring role.
