We are a unique, independent special school committed to providing a supportive and holistic educational environment for students aged 7-19. Our students present with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and many are on the autistic spectrum. The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient Science Teacher to deliver engaging and accessible science lessons across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, and potentially support post-16 students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a differentiated science curriculum that inspires curiosity and meets the individual needs of our students, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
A key part of this role will be to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment where students feel safe, understood, and motivated to achieve their full potential. Experience in adapting teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and sensory needs is crucial. There will be opportunities to incorporate our extensive outdoor spaces and practical learning ethos into your science teaching.
