The Role
An outstanding secondary school located close to central Southampton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, and offers the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Science among a diverse cohort of learners.
Plan and assess lessons to promote strong progress for students of varying abilities.
Work collaboratively within a successful and supportive department.
Take part in the wider school life including open evenings, enrichment activities, and ongoing CPD.

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A proactive, team-oriented approach and dedication to student success.
