School: Secondary Academy, Bexley, Southeast London

Annual Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS outer London (£34,568 - £51,237 per annum)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: September 2024

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary Academy in Bexley, in Southeast London bordering Kent. They are looking for a permanent Science Teacher to start in September 2024.

The school is seeking to appoint a creative and inspirational Science Teacher with QTS / QTLSto teach Science to KS3 and Chemistry or Physics to GCSE and A level. You’ll use your experience, strong subject knowledge and vision to secure positive pupil outcomes in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The Science department uses adaptive teaching strategies and multiple representations to drive the understanding of their students.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the UK Science curriculum and a passion for sharing your knowledge. You will need to be an excellent communicator. Applications from Physics or Chemistry specialists would be particularly welcomed.
