The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about horticulture and interested in developing a career in sales. You'll be joining a thriving horticultural business based in Kent that supplies high-quality plants to wholesale nurseries and landscaping businesses.
Your day-to-day will focus on selling a wide range of plants over the phone to existing and prospective wholesale and landscaping clients. It's a predominantly office-based role, but there may be the occasional need to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in at the nursery. A hands-on attitude is definitely a bonus!
Build relationships and manage key client accounts
Proactively identify new business opportunities
Deliver excellent customer service and satisfaction
Still enjoy the world of plants-just in a new, customer-facing way
Provide accurate quotes by email or telephone
Process online orders using company retail system
Liaise with customers over stock shortages or quality issues, offer compatible substitutes of in-stock lines where possible and order plants in when required
Source stock for order fulfilment

Are currently in a manual labour role within horticulture but ready to take the next step
Have a genuine interest in plants and gardening
Are confident communicating over the phone and via email

Have a horticultural qualification or proven experience in the horticultural industry
