The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales, Purchasing & Administration Coordinator to join our client’s team. This is a varied role ideally suited to someone with a strong background in order processing, purchasing, and sales support. You will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, processing orders, coordinating stock and purchasing activities, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally via phone and email
* Preparing and issuing quotes for sales and processing orders with accuracy
* Handling the full purchasing cycle: sourcing, ordering, tracking, and coordinating with suppliers
* Processing invoices, purchase orders, and maintaining up-to-date records in internal systems
* Supporting the sales team with administrative and operational tasks, including follow-ups and CRM updates
* Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring clear and timely communication
* Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment to meet ongoing demand
* Assisting with general administrative tasks to support a smooth office workflow
Requirements:
* Experience in sales administration, purchasing, or order processing is essential
* Confident in preparing quotes and managing the end-to-end sales order process
* A solid understanding of procurement and supplier coordination
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Strong communication skills and a professional manner with both customers and suppliers
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
* Background in a technical or industrial environment is desirable, but not essential
