Road Marking Operative

Benton, Newcastle

7am – 3pm Monday to Friday

£13 per hour (Rising to £15 per hour after 12 weeks)

About the Role

As a Road Marking Operative, you will assist in applying line markings at a variety of locations including:

* Roads and highways

* Car parks

* Warehouses

* School playgrounds

* Sports pitches

Must be flexible to work away, every 2 weeks for 1 or 2 days.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. You’ll need:

* A full, clean UK driving licence and your own reliable transport to and from our yard in Benton.

* Literacy and numeracy skills to follow written instructions, read site drawings, and set out markings accurately.

* A hard-working, reliable and positive attitude.

* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and occasionally away from home.

* Due to security requirements of some of our customers (schools, hospitals etc) applicants must agree to, and pass, a DBS and security vetting process.

Preferred but not essential:

* Valid CSCS card

* Previous experience in road marking or a related construction field
