Building on our br proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in sustainable br biomass and carbon removals. br br You’ll be br joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. br We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working br hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come. br br strong About br the role: /strong br br As part of br the Operational Excellence & Business Services team within Drax Energy br Solutions, the EV Risk & Governance Manager will; br - Embed a risk and control management framework br across the EV business, working closely with DES Risk & Governance and br Compliance br - Act as a key intermediary with the Regulation br and Compliance teams, and DES Risk & Control, to build and maintain br strong, effective relationships that enables our EV business to be br compliant by design. br - Co-create and contribute content for the DES br Risk Management & Compliance committee (RMCC) meetings throughout the br year, drawing content from Copper incidents, and risk and control reviews. br coach and educate colleagues on risk management, governance and controls br - Use strong br internal stakeholder management skills to influence the senior team in the br EV business, with the confidence to influence and have challenging br conversations. br - Provide support and advice on ad-hoc risk, br governance and compliance work as directed by the business. br br strong Who br we’re looking for: /strong br br To be br successful in this role you’ll ideally have br - A qualification in risk, compliance or br governance. br - A proven ability to challenge decisions and br drive process improvements. br - Strong people management skills with the br ability to motivate and drive performance through others on a consistent br basis through the application of coaching, influencing and negotiation br techniques. br - A deep understanding of governance, risk and br compliance frameworks from design to implementation with strong br understanding of risk mitigation and management. br - A driven and enthusiastic approach, persistent br in your approach to delivering against agreed business objectives. br br strong Rewards br and benefits: /strong br br As you help br us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you br thrive and support br your br lifestyle.
