Operating out of expansive offices within the historic Central Saint Martin's college (less than 10 minutes-walk from Kings Cross Station), this is a vibrant and modern team environment, with an expectation that colleagues come into the office 50% of their time. (Core days tend to be Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Reporting to the Procurement Lead, the Responsible Procurement Assistant will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that the University's procurement practices align with its sustainability goals and standards. You will regularly engage with UAL's supply-chain ensuring alignment with UAL's social purpose and procurement agendas and you will uphold the University's values and ethics in delivering proportionate risk-based contract management.

About you

Experience of working in a procurement role in a complex environment.
Knowledge of sustainable procurement principles and practices.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Professional qualification CIPS / NVQ level 4 or above (achieved or working towards - desirable).
Knowledge of eProcurement and ERP/Finance systems and reporting tools.
Excellent MS Office Software knowledge (PowerBI desirable).
Experience of building successful internal working relationships with stakeholders.
