Residential Conveyancer

Job Description Our client has a vacancy for a Residential Conveyancer to work within a team environment. You must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a busy residential conveyancing environment and that you have all the technical expertise required to undertake this role.\n\nFor this role you will need to be a qualified Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with Conveyancing & team management experience. You must be able to handle pressure and prioritise your daily responsibilities.\n\nDuties:\n\n * Conduct residential conveyancing matters adopting the standards and systems of the firm and using the Case Management system.\n\n * To effect financial control over all matters under his/her supervision to include (but not exclusively) achieving and exceeding targets, write offs, lock up, anti-ML checks and all post completion matters including file closure and archiving.\n\n * The appropriate candidate should have a proven track record of handling a wide variety of files to include transfer of equity, sale, purchase, land purchases, remortgages and equity release\n\n * Manage a team of conveyancing support staff.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Effective business development skills\n\n * Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets, policies, regulations and procedures\n\n * Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines\n\n * Attentive telepho...
