Job Title: Remote Payroll Administrator

Location: Remote – United Kingdom
Employment Type: Full-Time | Remote
Salary: £13 - £18 per hour (depending on experience)


Apply4U is hiring on behalf of their client for a dependable and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll processing in a fully remote role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented and confident working with payroll systems and UK legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with UK tax and employment laws

  • Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies

  • Calculate statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP, and pensions

  • Ensure all HMRC submissions and RTI filings are completed correctly

  • Support year-end procedures, including P60s and P11Ds

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a payroll position

  • Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory payments

  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, BrightPay, Xero)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage confidential data securely

  • Strong communication and time management skills
