Reliability Technician

Our client, a global chemical manufacturer with a major production site in Hartlepool, is looking for a Reliability Technician to join their team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone with a background as a labourer or fitter’s mate, looking to develop their skills in an industrial maintenance environment.

Reliability Technician Key Responsibilities:

Carry out lubrication tasks on rotating machinery across the plant

*

Inspect and report on machine safety guarding to ensure compliance

*

Collect oil samples for off-site analysis

*

Input routine maintenance data into SAP using basic IT skills

*

Work independently to complete assigned lubrication routes and routines

Reliability Technician Requirements:

*

Experience as a Labourer, Fitter’s Mate, or Technician in a similar hands-on role

*

Able to self-manage daily tasks and work independently

*

Comfortable using computers to input data into maintenance systems

*

MLT or MLA qualification desirable – training can be provided on site for the right candidate
