A new entrant bank who is a genuine ‘fintech’ and disrupting the banking market due to its innovative products and digital platforms, is looking to hire into their Treasury team for a regulatory reporting specialist. The business is based in the north east near Manchester and offers attractive hybrid working.Role DescriptionYou will lead the production of regulatory reports and data submitted to the regulators, managing the full suite of regulatory returns in line with the requirement of the firm’s regulators including COREP, FINREP and Bank of England returns, whilst keeping pace with and maintaining knowledge of the fast changing regulatory requirements within the sector.Role RequirementsDemonstrable experience in COREP, FINREP and Bank of England returnsPreference for a strength in regulatory capital knowledgeAbility to contribute to the development of new products, including new data requirements, leading system implementations, liquidity & capital requirements and ensuring the correct reporting both internally and externallySound understanding of the banking market, with a preference for retail banking expertiseAbility to partner with key stakeholders across the business to ensure the successful delivery of wider projects

The team are also responsible for maintaining the Bank’s unsecured wholesale funding programmes and utilising these programmes to strategically fund the Bank and Group via unsecured debt issuance.The Secured Funding Reporting Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of a bespoke securitisation reporting system. In addition, they will support and enhance the BAU reporting activities undertaken by the department.
