Regional Sales Manager – Commercial Refrigeration

(Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – HVAC | Distributor Channel Sales)

Location: UK – North UK

Recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to join a highly respected manufacturer of commercial refrigeration systems — a well-established name with a strong reputation in the UK HVAC/R sector.

With proven success already achieved through partnerships with several of the UK's leading HVAC distributors, this is a role focused primarily on account management — ensuring strong relationships, driving continued growth through existing channels, and supporting installer/contractor sales via your distribution partners.

There's a long-term opportunity for business development too, as the company continues to review its channel strategy and identify potential for additional distribution partnerships.

The Role

*

Manage and develop key distributor relationships across the UK HVAC/R market.

*

Support distributor sales teams to help drive pull-through demand at installer and contractor level.

*

Train and educate distributor and contractor partners on new product launches, technical features, and system benefits.

*

Identify new opportunities for growth within existing accounts — focusing on product range penetration and volume increases.

*

Strategically assess opportunities to bring new distributors into the network over time.

*

Work closely with marketing and technical teams to ensure brand visibility and technical support are first class.

Background:

*

Sales experience within the HVAC, Refrigeration, or wider Engineering sectors is essential.

*

Strong understanding of distributor channels and sales cycles to installers and contractors.

*

Comfortable with a role that is account management-led, but still commercially aware and proactive.

*

Self-motivated and able to manage a key distribution relationships

*

Confident presenter and relationship-builder, able to engage at branch level and at a senior commercial level.

Package on Offer:

Salary: £45,000–£52,000+
