Quantity Surveyor - Multi-Sector Projects

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000

An established cost consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Oxford office, supporting the delivery of a diverse pipeline of high-value projects across the retail, commercial, infrastructure, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of cost plans, tender documentation, and contract administration.
Manage project budgets, undertake cost control and forecasting activities.
Support contract negotiations and procurement processes with contractors and suppliers.
Prepare interim valuations, assess variations, and contribute to final accounts.
Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure commercial performance.
Monitor project risks and assist in value engineering exercises.
Ensure compliance with legal and contractual frameworks (JCT).
Support the mentoring of junior team members where appropriate.

What We're Looking For:

BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Around 3-5 years' post-graduate experience in cost consultancy or client-side environment.
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial reporting.
Comfortable working across multiple sectors in both pre- and post-contract stages.
