We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned tier 1 main contractor on a major project based near Basingstoke. The business undertakes large scale national projects across the healthcare, student accommodation, commercial and defence sectors valuing in excess of �100mil.

As a result of the growing project needs, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor in the team.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within an established commercial team on a �200mil project where you will be responsible for procuring and managing sub-contract packages, reporting into the commercial lead.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have administered JCT / NEC forms of contract
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Basingstoke.
