Job Description Quantity Surveyor\n\n Derby\n £55,000 - £70,000\n Permanent | Hybrid Working Available\n\nAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor in the water sector.\n This is a permanent position based in Derby, offering hybrid working and real potential for career progression.\n\nYou 'll report to the Managing QS and either take financial responsibility for smaller projects or manage key accounts on a major scheme.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPreparing applications, valuations, and cost-value reconciliations\nCost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting (value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow)\nManaging supply chain and subcontractor packages\nSupporting risk and value management processes\nContract administration (NEC knowledge is a bonus)\nEnsuring all project documentation is up to date\nLiaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors\nProviding contractual advice to the project team\nHighlighting and escalating any safety-related risks\n\n✅ Requirements:\n\nEssential:\n\nDegree in Quantity Surveying or similar\nARICS or currently working towards APC\nMain contractor experience\n\nDesirable:\n\nExperience
