Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support a major infrastructure project based in Somerset. This high-profile development demands a detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in managing cost control, valuations, subcontractor management, and financial reporting on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage project budgets and forecasts
Prepare and negotiate subcontractor packages
Conduct site measurements and valuations
Ensure compliance with contract terms and relevant regulations
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' QS experience on major infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Immediate availability preferred
This is a freelance/contract position, offering flexible working arrangements with competitive day rates. Duration: 12+ months with potential extension.
