Job Title: Quantity Surveyor- Highways
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 + Company vehicle
Location: Hampshire
About Us: This company are looking for an ambitious QS to help them grow their Highways Division. They are getting increasingly busy as they grow and are looking for a strong minded candidate to support on the commercial operations.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in our highways civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will accurately estimate project costs, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
·Prepare accurate cost estimates for highways civil engineering projects.
·Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes.
·Provide commercial support to project teams, including contract administration and cost reporting.
·Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address commercial issues and ensure contractual compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
·Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
· years of experience in highways civil engineering quantity surveying/estimation.
·Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office applications.
·Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
