Quantity Surveyor (claims)

Job Description Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Full-time, Monday–Friday, with 3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £540 per day Outside IR35
Duration: Ongoing
Contract Type: Freelance 6 month+ (likelihood of extensions)
Start Date: ASAP

A leading consultancy, working on behalf of a clean energy contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a major steam generation facility project in Barrow-in-Furness. This role focuses on managing and preparing claims on behalf of the client within an NEC contract environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage claims on the client’s behalf
Operate within the NEC contract framework
Engage with stakeholders and support dispute resolution
Be onsite 3 days per week as part of a full-time role

Requirements:
Strong background in NEC contracts
Solid experience in client-side claims management
Confident communicator with attention to detail
