Quality Inspector

Are you a competent Quality Inspector, capable of dimensionally inspecting machined/fabricated engineered components?Do you want to work within first class manufacturing facilities?If so, then please read on.The basics:Job Title: Quality InspectorLocation: Derby Shift: Day Shift - Mon-Thur (7.00am to 4.00pm or 8.00am to 5.00pm) & Fri (7.00am to 12.00pm) Contracted hours per week: 39 hrs anything over paid at OT ratesPay: 28000 to 34000 DOERole: PermanentWork environment: Clean, modern, warm, first class manufacturing facilitiesOverview:Working out of first class manufacturing facilities, we require an additional Quality Inspector due to growth in work load for this large scale manufacturer. Role involves inspection of machined/fabricated components.The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:- Ability to measure and inspect precision engineered fabricated or machined components - Competent at interpreting engineering drawings- Competent working with measuring handheld tools associated in a machining/fabrication/precision engineering environment such as micrometres, verniers, slip gauges etc.Commutable from: Derby, Burton upon Trent, Ilkeston, Heanor and surrounding areas.If you are interested in the Quality Inspector role, please apply immediately due to the urgency of this role.
