Quality inspector / Machine setter

Day shifts 8am–4pm, Monday-Friday

We’re hiring for a Quality Inspector / Machine setter on behalf of a growing manufacturing business in Herefordshire — part of a successful, privately owned group undergoing major investment and change.
A hybrid role that blends precision engineering with quality control. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in CNC machine setting who has also been hands-on with quality inspection tasks.
What you’ll be doing as a Quality inspector/Machine setter:

Setting and operating CNC machines to manufacture components to spec
*
Using measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings to inspect parts
*
Playing a key role in maintaining quality standards throughout production
*
Supporting continuous improvement within a forward-thinking team
What we’re looking for from a Quality inspector/Machine setter:
*
Proven experience in CNC machine setting
*
Strong understanding of quality control processes
*
Confident using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
*
Ability to work from engineering drawings with attention to detail
