Job Description FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Quality & Improvement Specialist based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available.
Reporting to the Quality Director, this role will take the lead on ongoing development and implementation of system and process improvement initiatives within the Quality function.
Main duties include:
Contributes to annual planning for campaigns, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
Leads quality-related business improvement efforts and fosters cross-functional collaboration.
Analyses performance trend data and drives continuous improvement.
Promotes lessons learned and knowledge sharing across the business.
Manages the business-wide management review process and shares outcomes.
Acts as internal and external focal point for ISO certification.
Implements and oversees ISO certification audit programmes.
Collaborates on audit planning and supports audit delivery.
Governs and enhances the Business Management System (BMS) content.
Assists in BMS reviews and revisions across departments.
Manages updates to management systems and business tools, including change impact.
Delivers training on performance tools and management systems.
Reviews and refines existing functional procedures.
Maintains HSSEQ SharePoint with current information.
Updates virtual library with relevant legislation and guidance.
Supports investigations, root cause analysis, and incident management.
Assists with tender processes and Quality-related documentation.
Suitable candidates should have the following:
Strong working experience with Business Management Systems and Business Improvement initiatives
Comprehensive understanding of the Quality discipline within heavy industries, particularly within Renewables / Oil and Gas Sectors
Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
Qualified and experienced Lead Auditor.
Extensive knowledge of ISO Quality and HSE Standards.
Strong organisational, communication, and report-writing skills
Capable of presentation and discussion at Senior Management Level.
Demonstrated experience in Incident Management and Investigation, utilizing root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
Demonstrated abilities in resolving issues through methodical and organized approaches.
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
