Our client is a Groundworks Contractor that predominantly operates within the Residential Sector. They specialise in Roads, Sewers, Infrastructure, Bulk Earthworks and Housing Plot Groundworks.
This a great opportunity to join an established, growing business that offers an attractive package and has structured targets for growth, year on year.
Due to expanded growth in the region they are looking for a Quality Engineer with previous experience working within the Residential Sector and a good knowledge and understanding of ‘NHBC Standards’ is a must.
My client would be keen to speak with Site Engineers, Quality Managers, Site Managers, Finishing Foreman, Customer Service Managers that understand the New Build Residential Sector, whether that’s from a Groundworks background or directly working for a Residential developer.
You will be responsible for overseeing multiple live projects across the Eastern Counties area, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex liaising with the relevant Site Foreman/Project Managers. You will primary be checking plots, roads and drainage to ensure the build is correct.
Someone that’s pro-active with teachings and checking, able to build good rapport with site teams and effectively communicate to ensure the overall quality is been achieved at all levels.
You will be typically checking:
- Checking manholes
- Depth to step
- Checking rings
- Channel benching
- Dip type 1
