Purchasing Manager

A Manufacturing client of ours is looking for a Purchasing Manager to their company in Mildenhall, Bury-St-Edmunds. Paying �35,000 - �45,000pa DOE working on-site Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

This is a standalone role, ideal for someone confident managing procurement and stock independently. You'll be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels across depots.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Place timely and cost-effective orders for raw materials

• Maintain and build strong, trustworthy relationships with all suppliers
• Independently manage purchasing and inventory levels across multiple depots
• Monitor usage trends and forecast future requirements
• Ensure accurate records and inventory data
• Liaise with internal teams to understand production demands and delivery schedules

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Purchasing Manager position:

• Experience in a purchasing or procurement role (manufacturing background a bonus)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Advanced level of computer literacy.
• Ability to work in a fast moving/ high pressure environment
