My client is a large manufacturing organisation looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their growing team.
Description
Collate purchase orders for materials, goods and supplies
Review inventories and order as required, adhering to min/max stock levels and ensuring optimum efficiency of parts in all locations
Work with production, sales and accounts to review and update min/max stock levels on a periodic basis
Develop good working relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth flow of order processing
Maintain/generate accurate supplier and component records on multi-company systems
Review deliveries against orders and track/progress order status
Manage Return goods - non-conforming product/over supply/warranties
Investigate and correcting stock discrepanciesProfile
A successful Purchasing Administrator should have:
Experience as an Administrator
Excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Good excel skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
