Job Description Hunter James Recruitment are very pleased to be working with this Transport Company with the search for a Purchase Ledger on site in Southampton\n\nDuties:\n - Process and analyze purchase invoices and credit notes\n- Ensure accurate data entry of invoices into the system\n- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies\n- Assist with month-end closing activities related to purchase ledger\n- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions\n- Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources, to ensure timely payment of invoices\n- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any issues or disputes\n\nSkills:\n - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry\n- Excellent organizational and time management skills\n- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel\n- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends\n- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal\n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\nIn return our client is offering a competitive salary of £28000 - £34,000 plus great benefits\n\nIf you are interested please send across you CV as soon as possible
