Project Quantity Surveyor

Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor ready to lead a £10m industrial refurbishment project? We’re seeking a commercially astute and driven professional to take the reins on a scheme for a main contractor who are growing and are looking to addd a Quantity Surveyor to their team.

The Role:

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all commercial aspects of a high-profile refurbishment to 13 Industrial Units. From early procurement and cost planning through to final accounts, you’ll ensure value is maximised and risk is managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead commercial management of the £10m refurbishment project from pre-construction to completion

* Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts

* Oversee procurement of subcontract packages and contract negotiation

* Monitor progress against budget, reporting on variances and commercial performance

* Manage subcontractor payments, variations, and final accounts

* Provide commercial input to project strategy, value engineering, and risk management

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and the delivery team to ensure alignment on commercial matters

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on industrial or large-scale refurbishment projects
