New urgent role for a Project Manager to run a new build industrial project valued around £20m.

Applicants must have a strong background delivering similar projects from early groundworks through to steel frame erection and commercial fit out.

This will be a long term freelance role for a tier 2 main contractor, interviews shall take place immediately with a view to start asap.

Duties:

Leading all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final handover.
Managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively and efficiently.
Overseeing a team of contractors and subcontractors, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring clear communication.
Ensuring strict adherence to all relevant building regulations, health and safety guidelines, and quality control procedures.
Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure the project remains on track.
Regularly reporting on progress to senior management, providing transparent and accurate updates.
Working collaboratively with the design team and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager on new-build industrial projects, ideally with a Tier 2 main contractor.
A strong understanding of construction methodologies, technical specifications, and relevant building regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
A commitment to safety and compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
