About the Role

RMS Recruitment is partnering with a client in the offshore wind and engineering sector to recruit an experienced Project Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and initiation through to operational execution. You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all phases of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure successful execution.

Deliver projects aligned with business objectives and contract scope.

Oversee all commercial aspects and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, and resource providers.

Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Resource Planning, and Finance to ensure readiness prior to project start.

Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including updates on day-to-day operations and project changes.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying and supporting future business opportunities.

Track key performance indicators and report project progress in line with internal procedures.

Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to the PMO, HSE, and Bids & Tendering teams.

Proactively manage project risks and cost, working closely with Finance and Cost Control teams.

Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture, supporting audits and compliance efforts.

Additional Responsibilities

Participate in training and development to enhance role effectiveness.

Occasional international travel may be required.

Represent the company at marketing and industry events.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within offshore wind, construction, or engineering industries.

Formal qualifications and training in engineering, business, or project management.

Proven experience leading high-value, complex projects.

Solid understanding of technical disciplines to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams.

Strong organisational, time management, and leadership abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive and solutions-focused with a resilient, team-oriented mindset.

Skilled at building strong internal and external relationships and influencing without authority.
