Project Manager
Slough, Berkshire (with hybrid working and regular site visits)
The Company
The Blacksmith Shop is a family-run business in Berkshire.
Boasting over 35 years in business and with a reputation for high-quality products, honesty, and personal service, we manufacture bespoke interior metalwork and handmade furniture by hand in our own workshops. With years of heritage dating back to 1911 and backgrounds in engineering draughtsmanship and blacksmithing, many of the earliest manufacturing processes are still used today. We feel this creates an unrivalled product experience and allows our collection to flow seamlessly into traditional or contemporary settings. We love to work with interior designers and private clients aiming to create that wow factor within their home whilst achieving a continuous finish throughout.
We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. With our hybrid working arrangement, you can work three days per week from our office in Slough, and two days from home.
The Benefits
- Salary of £50,000 per annum
- Pension scheme
- 21 days’ annual leave
- Free onsite parking
- Hybrid and flexible working
- Relaxing breakout areas
- Free tea and coffee

This is the perfect opportunity for a project manager with experience in the construction industry to join us.
With plenty of scope for professional development, you can rest assured that your skillset will be nurtured to flourish within our supportive team. On top of this, we offer flexibility with hybrid working options, meaning that you can maximise your work/life balance.
What’s more, you’ll be working on a wide range of construction projects, ensuring you remain engaged by the variety and challenge on offer. With multiple concurrent projects, you’ll be the lynchpin of our business, ensuring we retain our reputation for quality and excellence in everything we do.
The Role
As the Project Manager, you will manage a range of high-value construction projects focused around residential solutions.
Utilising your experience of working on multiple bespoke residential projects, you will monitor costs, manage time, and ensure the quality of the finished project.
You will oversee all stages of a project, from initial handover through to completion, and will take part in activities such as upselling to contribute to overall revenue growth and project success.
A big part of your role will be to look at the bigger picture and see where we can improve our processes, develop the services we deliver and enable repeat business. We will be looking for you to grow the scope of projects whilst they are in motion, minimise instances where snagging needs to be provided and limit the number of issues and complaints.
Additionally, you will:
