PROJECT ENGINEER

Delta NEU design and sell solutions for dust control, waste extraction and industrial ventilation across a range of industries in particular, corrugated board, carton, can and food.

We are now recruiting for an experienced PROJECT ENGINEER to join our established engineering team based at our offices in Stockport

THE ROLE:

* Reporting directly to the Managing Director

* Responsible for managing projects from sales handover to customer delivery

* Supporting the Sales Managers on customer proposals

* Working alongside the Sales Manager, Design Engineer and Site Engineer

* Attending weekly project review meetings

* Leading kick-off meetings with the customer/client

* Specifying, purchasing, sub-contractor progressing and delivery

* Installation organisation and preparation of site documentation H&S/RAMS

* Assisting in commissioning

* Compilation of O&M’s

* Liaising with the Finance Director on project costs, supplier and customer invoicing

THE REQUIREMENTS:

* A strong customer focus

* Excellent level of communication skills

* Experience of working on customer sites

* Willing to travel throughout the UK

* Educated to HNC level Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical

* 3 years’ industrial experience with a technical background in a similar role

* You may be required to undertake occasional overseas travel, including training at Group HQ in Lille, Franc...
