Reed Engineering are working with an amazing global company who are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join their Defence Contracts department. This role is crucial as the main point of contact and internal driver, responsible for planning and organising resources, identifying and resolving issues to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to business requirements. The ideal candidate will fully comply with the company Management Systems, incorporating Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Requirements.  Due to the nature of the MOD contracts you must be a UK National to fulfil this role.
Day-to-day of the role: Plan and organise resources, identify and resolve issues to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to business requirements.
Take ownership of the project from receipt of tender file from Sales staff through to project completion.
Act as the main focal point for communication between the customer and operations.
Proactively monitor project progress, involving liaison with all stakeholders.
