As a Project Controls Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of projects by leading planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost management, and risk mitigation efforts. Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with client and company goals

Develop, manage, and report on project budgets and cost controls

Perform risk identification and mitigation planning

Motivate and manage project control teams to high performance

Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and senior stakeholders

Present complex data and insights clearly and concisely to varied audiences

Analyse project data to support strategic decision-making

Ensure all project control practices align with relevant industry standards and regulations

Oversee and manage changes in project scope, timelines, and budgets

Experience & Skills

Proven experience in project controls, including planning, cost engineering, and risk management

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel

Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)

Expertise in Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and integration scheduling

Familiarity with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

Ability to analyse and manipulate data for actionable insights

Governance experience and knowledge of compliance frameworks

Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities

High attention to detail with a strategic and analytical mindset

Adaptable, with a commitment to continuous improvement and professional integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred)

Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent
