Progression and Student Success Coach

Contract type: Full Time (37.5 hours) - PermanentLocation: Leeds, Leeds International Study CentreSalary: up to £24570 per annumLeeds International Study Centre (LISC) and Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre (LBUISC) are provided by Study Group in collaboration with the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University. You will be part of the Progression team, as part of the wider Student Support Team at the LISC and LBUISC working with the existing Progression and Student Success Coaches as a personal tutor and supporting progression needs of students. You will need to be highly organised, with strong ICT skills and a background in student support, ideally with international students.ABOUT THE ROLE
Acting as a PASS Coach/Personal Tutor delivering weekly Progression and Student Success (PASS) tutorials to your tutor groups
To design and create learning materials around study skills, university skills and employability for Progression and Student Success tutorials.
To provide 1:1 personal and professional development coaching with students to help them succeed.
To monitor and support interventions for academic engagement and attendance.
To track student performance, support in the Mitigating Circumstances procedure and ensure progression records are maintained.
