Progress and Performance Tutor (PSHE)

Take responsibility for engaging and inspiring students by delivering high-quality learning, tutorials, and PSHE & RSE subjects, supporting their progress into employment or Higher Education. This includes developing their skills for independence, educating them to safeguard themselves against relevant challenges in modern Britain, monitoring progress, undertaking safeguarding duties, and helping them access College support services.
The following is an indication of the type and level of the main priorities expected of this role as directed by your line manager and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of duties or tasks: 1. Teach the skills students need to progress into employment or Higher Education, supporting their personal and academic growth through planned target setting. Deliver group tutorial programmes of up to 30 students, covering safeguarding, relationships, employability, sustainability, drug and alcohol awareness, vaping, health and well-being etc., and raising aspirations to help them develop and prepare for the workplace. 2.
