Production Team Leader - £36,868 + shift allowance – Newark NG14

Senior Production Team Leader; the role:

Reporting to the Production Manager and deputising in their absence, the SPTL will plan, co-ordinate and manage a team to deliver all plant activities in a safe, efficient and productive manner in line with KPIs.

Responsible for all aspects of the shift ensuring the delivery of the key performance indicators, including Health & Safety, labour resource, delivery of production targets, quality, cost, asset control in line with budget requirements, maintenance/technical and human resources.

You will develop and manage improvements in the capabilities and competencies of all employees by promoting a continuous improvement mindset and culture, actively engaging in activities and encouraging engagement throughout.

Champion best practice to achieve/exceed yield targets and drive improved quality products and operational practices i.e., cost reduction, energy saving and minimisation of waste.

Senior Production Team Leader; requirements:

A self-starter with experience of leading a team within a fast moving, production environment.

Ideally IOSH / NEBOSH qualified and with experience of implementing policies and procedures.

You will have excellent people management capabilities and be able to confidently lead a production team.

Possess excellent IT skills, preferably with working knowledge of Excel.
