Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire which are looking to recruit Night Shift Production Supervisors. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and working in a manufacturing environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate production line activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet daily targets, and maintain product quality and safety standards.
* Monitor processes to comply with HACCP, BRC, and company quality procedures, conducting regular checks and collaborating with QA teams to resolve any issues.
* Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance, good teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency, and report deviations to management with suggested improvements.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction, actively participating in lean manufacturing and efficiency projects.
On Offer
* 4 on 4 off - days or nights.
* Hourly Rate: £17.72 - £18.47
* Pension and OT.
