The Role
We are seeking dedicated Production Operatives to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will:
* Operate and monitor textile manufacturing machinery, such as carding, spinning, or quilting equipment, following standard operating procedures.
* Prepare and feed raw materials into machines, ensuring continuous production flow.
* Conduct quality checks at various production stages to maintain product standards.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
* Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and product quality.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts and adapt to changing production needs
