Production Manufacturing Operative

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team in the Uckfield area? We are seeking multiple motivated and reliable individuals to join our client's production team as Production Manufacturing Operatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bench assembly by carefully fitting and securing components.
• Assemble parts of various shapes and sizes with precision.
• Pick and pack a range of products to meet order requirements.
• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Ensure high-quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with general production line duties, such as organising materials and supporting team members as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage, but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.21 per hour + Holiday Pay (or £13.68 Holiday Pay Included)
• Multiple breaks throughout the day
• Full-time hours. Monday to Thursday 7.45am - 4.15pm / Friday 7.45am - 3.15pm
• Temporary contract with the potential for a permanent position based on performance
