Which game? PowerWash Simulator. In this role, your mission is to get to know PowerWash Simulator, inside and out. Using qualitative and quantitative data, you’ll drive feature planning and prioritisation, balancing the business of numbers with the business of fun!We’re seeking someone is discerning, with knowledge of live operations and the ability to make data-driven decisions that advance the long-term success of PowerWash Simulator. It’s equally important to us that the chosen candidate advocates for, and is considerate of, our wonderful player community.As a remote-friendly studio, we are pleased to offer remote working wherever possible. This role can be fully remote, based out of our sunny seaside office in Brighton or a mixture of both!At FuturLab, we believe patience is as good for our games as it is for our people. You can read more about life at FuturLab here.Role and Responsibilities:Propose new features and live game events, whilst remaining mindful of our global and very diverse community.Work closely and co-operatively with the design, art, marketing/community, tech and production teams. Devise plans with these teams which will keep the current community engaged as well as driving new players to the game.Conduct market research, in collaboration with our marketing and player insights teams, to thoroughly understand our audience and their needs. Use this information to cement the vision and the positioning of the game.Work closely with our Data Analysts to analyse player behaviour and feedback to help the team continue to improve the game for our current and future players.Daily monitoring of the game, and communicating activity and performance of the game to the key team members. You will be the glue of the game, binding all the different streams of data together for both the live game and upcoming updates, whilst communicating this data effectively and diplomatically to all key team members.RequirementsA natural and diplomatic communicator.At least 5 years worth of relevant experience working as a Product Manager in the video game sector.In-depth knowledge of current live service market best practices, with the ability to identify which works bests for the well-being of our community.Good working knowledge of game design and live game operations.Strong affinity for data-driven decision making.Genuine desire to provide the best experience for our community.Team player with zero ego.Experience with PC/Console market.Prior experience of working in the ‘cozy’ game space.Salary: 55k to 65k (dependent on experience)Performance related bonus.Bi-annual salary reviews based on your performance.Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (No weekends, No overtime, No Crunch!)Opportunity to work from home (UK only), out of our Brighton office, or hybrid.21 days annual leave + 9 Bank Holidays, which includes our very own FuturLab Bank Holiday!Extra day off for your birthday.Studio closure over the Christmas period.5 paid training and 2 paid volunteer days per year to work on your personal development.Opportunities to attend and speak at gaming events/conferences.Free MS Game Pass or PS+ subscriptionFree game codes, game swag and merchandise.Enhanced Maternity - 9 months full pay (statutory benefit topped up by FL)Paternity leave - 8 weeks full payEnhanced Sick Pay.Enhanced Pension.Private Healthcare, includes dental and optical cover.Remote therapy service through Spill -8 x 50-minute virtual sessions over 6 months whenever you need them.
