Product Design Engineer

Job Description Our client, a leading manufacturer with in-house production facilities, is currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their dynamic design and engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in designing both standard and custom product variants, as well as contributing to new product development initiatives.\n\nThis position could suit either a recent graduate engineer looking to start their career or a more experienced engineer seeking a new challenge. Full support and training will be provided where needed.\n\nProduct Design Engineer Job Overview\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed design documentation to support efficient manufacturing operations, while ensuring compliance with relevant luminaire safety standards.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across design, production, and commercial functions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCreate and maintain precise design data for standard products, custom variants, and new developments.\nEnsure designs comply with relevant safety and design standards, including BS EN (phone number removed).\nWork within established product guidelines to maintain consistency.\nSupport the maintenance of design data and workflow systems in line with ISO 9001
