Role responsibilities include;
- Develop procurement systems and data�
- Manage supply chain performance and drive improvement�
- Ensure adherence to supplier contracts in alignment with strategies and policies�
- Identify cost-saving opportunities�
- Facilitate the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials and tooling through the supply chain�
- Establish stock replenishment targets and monitor their achievement.�
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and act as the primary point of contact for international customs documentation and trade requirements.�
- Provide guidance on incoterms to the business
- Lead procurement efforts for special projects and capital equipment
- Analyse and agree on contract terms and conditions, ensuring business risks are managed�
Key skills required;
- Proven Procurement experience within an Engineering organisation
- Knowledge of contract frameworks
- Shipping & Export experience would be an advantage�
- Experience of supplier development and supplier performance improvement programmes
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to travel as required
This role will be fully office-based
