Join a world-class scientific team - We're looking for a highly experienced and passionate Toxicologist to step into a pivotal Principal Scientist role within a dynamic organisation. Based primarily in Dundee - with hybrid flexibility - this role offers the chance to lead, influence, and deliver scientific excellence in toxicology across a range of Pharma and non-Pharma projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Principal Scientist, you will:

Provide strategic leadership across toxicology services to support client drug discovery and regulatory safety testing.

*

Lead and deliver client-facing projects, promoting growth, efficiency, and innovation across the business.

*

Support the development and execution of toxicology studies aligned with OECD guidelines and regulatory standards (ECHA, REACH, EPA).

*

Act as Project Manager, Study Director, or Principal Investigator on regulated studies where applicable.

*

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the sites to deliver high-quality scientific services.

Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for someone who brings both scientific depth and strategic oversight. You’ll need:

*

A degree in a relevant discipline eg. biomedical sciences, or substantial relevant industry experience.

*

A PhD or equivalent postgraduate experience in Toxicology (drug discovery or product safety – agrochemicals, chemicals, cosmetics, or food).

*

In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks (OECD, ECHA, REACH, EPA) and adverse outcome pathways.

*

Experience in a CRO, academic, biotech, or pharma environment.

*

Proven leadership as a Project Manager, Study Director or PI.

*

GxP experience is preferred.

*

A credible and enthusiastic approach to building relationships and driving scientific success.
