Principal Recruiter (360 Recruitment Role)
Location: Fully Remote (Monthly face-to-face meetings in Exeter)
Salary: From £37,000 - £45,000 base salary based on exp + commission + quarterly & end of year Bonus + New Business Bonus's

The Role
As a Principal Recruiter , you will lead end-to-end 360 recruitment strategies for our UK clients, ensuring seamless talent acquisition from initial client engagement to successful candidate placement. This hands-on leadership role demands a mix of strategic vision, operational excellence, and a passion for building lasting relationships in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Leadership: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including business development, account management, candidate sourcing, screening, negotiation, and onboarding.
Business Development: Cultivate and expand relationships with UK-based clients in IT, Cyber Security, and Electronics, understanding their technical hiring needs and workforce challenges.
Team Mentorship: Guide and develop a high-performing recruitment team (1-2 Tech Sourcers), fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Market Strategy: Design data-driven recruitment strategies aligned with UK market trends, leveraging tools like Linkedi Insights, SourceWhale, ZoomInfo and other platforms.
Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs such as time-to-hire, candidate retention, and client satisfaction, driving improvements through actionable insights.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven 360 Recruitment Expertise: Minimum 4-5 years in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within IT, Software, Engineering, or Defence sectors.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of roles such as Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Electronics, FGPA etc.
Leadership Credentials: Experience managing teams in a fast-paced agency environment, with a focus on coaching and target achievement.
Communication Excellence: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of closing high-value placements.
