Salary: £45,628 +depending on experience

What you’ll bedoing: Designing the SSN AUKUS which is now the world’s mostadvanced Submarine
Using yourknowledge of hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, seamanship and outfit,infrastructure or whole boat design to support the largestshipbuilding programmes in the UK
Supportingwith sea trials, inclining experiments and other commissioningactivities for multiple submarine classes
Undertaking research and development activities todevelop world leading capabilities
Writingand presenting technical reports
Yourskills and experiences:
Essential: Demonstrable experience as a NavalArchitect
CharteredEngineer or working towards Chartered status
Desirable:
Degree in Naval Architecture
Experiencein ship design analysis and build support
Advancednumeracy and analytical skills
Previousexperience working on defence projects
