KS1 Teacher – Watford
Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their dedicated team from September. Role Responsibilities:
Teach a Key Stage 1 class, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
Plan and implement creative, effective lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils in developing early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel safe and valued
Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform future planning
Collaborate with colleagues and build strong relationships with parents and carers
Participate actively in the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in KS1 or strong KS1 placements (for ECTs)
A nurturing, enthusiastic, and patient teaching approach
Solid understanding of child development and the KS1 curriculum
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
